Certified Director of Assisted Living

Affiliated with Argentum, the Senior Living Certification Commission offers the Certified Director of Assisted Living (CDAL) credential. A CDAL demonstrates competency in their role as a community leader and commitment to the highest quality of service in senior living.

USC – Leonard Davis School of Gerontology

The School of Gerontology awards an annual scholarship to a CALA member. The recipient is able to select from five Master’s programs to best suit their needs, experience, and interests. The scholarship is valued at up to $80,000.

Washington State University’s Senior Living Management Program

The online, on-demand non-credit Senior Living Management certificate program is open to those interested in further enhancing their knowledge and skills. Topics include:
